tve's flagship series include Earth Report, Life and Hands On. tve also produces, co-produces and co-ordinates a wide range of other films and series.
On the global environment, these include: Meltdown, a four-part mini-series exploring the impact of climate change through the stories of four individuals, transmitted on Al Jazeera English and produced with the support of WWF International; The End of the World, a mini-series fronted by renowned hazardologist Professor Bill McGuire and produced for UK broadcaster Channel 5 and UK satellite Sky News; three series of Champions of the Earth - short film profiles of environmental leaders who have been honoured with UNEP's prestigious award; Changing Currents, a major series about water issues around the world made for World Water Day in 2003 .
tve films about social justice and development include the six-part Trade Talking series, produced with tve partners in Brazil, India, Indonesia, Kenya, the Philippines and Zambia in collaboration with Oxfam International highlighting the debate around the WTO Doha round trade negations in 2006; Africa Calling, a series of eight short films from tve partners in Africa, sending messages to the leaders of the G8 meeting in Gleneagles in 2005; a range of films about the Millennium Development Goals with broadcasters and producers in the MDGs in Focus project and the View from the South project.
Since 1995 tve has also coordinated the production and distribution of four human rights series made with the global Broadcasting for Change Network - a network of producers and broadcasters who join forces to make, exchange and broadcast films focusing on women's rights and equality issues all round the world: From Rhetoric to Reality, Reel to Real: Women Broadcasting for Change, Snapshots of Change and Why Women Count.
