about tve and what we do

tve works with partners worldwide to make films which inspire change.

We inspire viewers to lead a greener life. Entrepreneurs to take up the sustainability challenge. Corporations to see why they need to go green. Parents to educate their daughters as well as their sons. Decision-makers to think, and act, differently.

tve covers the most important stories on the planet: from climate change to the role of women, from conflict to culture, health to human rights. Our viewers may be among the millions watching television at home or passengers on long-distance buses, school children or students, internet users or villagers gathering at open-air screenings under forest canopies.

tve’s films reach 300 million homes via global broadcast and more than half a billion viewers on national, regional and local channels. Through our international network of 50 partners, our films reach viewers in 172 countries.

Our aim? To make people think. We don’t try to persuade. We don’t thump the table. We inform. We spark debate. We inspire change. And we’ve been inspiring change for 25 years with productions such as:

orange dot earth report, our dynamic environmental series for global television

orange dot life, a remarkable, creative series highlighting how individuals, and sometimes whole communities, are responding to the challenges of globalisation

orange dot element, made for MTV as a co-production, about the stories that matter for young people

orange dot Debates, multimedia projects for business and series produced by regional filmmakers for audiences in Africa and Latin America

Please be part of our next 25 years as we continue inspiring change and go to support tve
