Moving Pictures Online is a searchable catalogue of over 600 films on environment, development, health and human rights issues. Order them over the internet and we will send them to you by courier or mail.
We have outstanding films across all genres - documentary, drama, animation and PSAs. They are suitable for television broadcasters, educators, campaigners as well as interested individuals.
Moving Pictures is a non-profit service of TVE supported by the Swedish International Development Authority.

TVE has shotlisted its Earth Report output creating a major archive of environmental images from over 50 countries. The database will grow with TVE's weekly coverage of the state of the planet in 2000/01. Search our database by location or keyword. From Rhetoric to Reality is a TVE project resulting from a spirited meeting of around 40 women broadcasters from 27 countries who met in Paris in February 2000. Top of their agenda was the creation of a series of short films, reflecting the lives of women and progress made, since the noble promises issued five years ago at the Beijing International Conference on Women. From Rhetoric to Reality examines women's progress on the road to equality, and assesses how much further there is to go.
Last Plant Standing is a multi-media project highlighting the need to conserve diversity of the world’s food crops, to ensure global food security. The project was initiated and funded by the International Plant Genetic Resources Institute (IPGRI), with generous additional funding from: NHK, (through TVE Japan); International Development Research Centre; the UK Department for International Development; Danida, the Royal Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Project development was supported by the European Commission.
