Cheryl Campbell has been tve's executive director (CEO) since 2003. After graduating from Cambridge, Cheryl trained as a journalist on the Lancashire Evening Post before working for BBC radio as a reporter. She worked on screen for UK regional television channels Television South West and Tyne Tees and from 1988 - 92 was a senior reporter for the national commercial breakfast channel TV-am. In 1992 Cheryl moved to one of the UK's leading aid agencies, Christian Aid. Over the next 11 years she played a significant role in developing Christian Aid's cutting edge approach to communicating development to mainstream audiences. Cheryl was Head of Public Communications from 1995 and Head of the Broadcasting, Digital and Publishing Division from 2001 as Christian Aid put the developing world on UK television against prevailing trends. Jenny Richards has been tve's deputy director since 1994. A Cambridge English graduate and former print and radio journalist on the Sunday Times, Guardian and Time Out and BBC Radio 4, she joined tve in 1988 as editor of its monthly guide to environment and development films, The Moving Pictures Bulletin. From 1989-95 she coordinated expansion of tve's global outreach through the development of partner networks in Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America & the Caribbean. In 2000 she was series editor of tve's first Life series, focusing on globalization and its impact and continues to lead on the development of new Life series while coordinating tve's international work. A trustee for the One World Broadcasting Trust and Panos London, she's served on film awards juries in Germany, Italy, Japan and the UK, including the Royal Television Society and One World Media Awards.

Andy Coates is tve's chief operating officer. A BA in Politics and Economics from Leeds University, he trained as a chartered accountant and since qualifying in 1992 has worked for a variety of different organisations, including more than 10 years working in the charity sector, firstly for the Institute of Cancer Research and then, since 2001, tve. He has a postgraduate diploma in charity accounting and financial management from London South Bank University and is the treasurer of two charities, Education for Choice and the Mary Jane Fund. In his role as Chief Operating Officer he is responsible for all financial and administrative matters.

Nick Rance leads on all tve's work on the environment, which includes managing and developing the Earth Report series. A BA in Arts History from Leeds University, he joined tve in 1994 as a researcher, writer and production manager, and since has worked on numerous tve productions, including coordinating production for three Earth Report series from 2001-2004, and overseeing production and delivery of short films and video news releases for organizations like UN Environment Programme, the Global Environment Facility and the World Health Organization. In 2005 he worked as production manager on TVE's Life series on the Millennium Development Goals, and in 2006 he researched and produced a series of 7 x 10 minute films to mark the work of the UN Environment Programme's 2006 'Champions of the Earth' awards.

Dina Junkermann is tve's sales and distribution manager. Dina has been working at tve since 1999, and is responsible for the movement of tve's productions around the world, as well as for broadcast and footage sales, contracts, master library management, and overall archiving strategy for tve's considerable footage holdings. She also assists Jenny Richards in providing day-to-day support for our international partners. An Australian by birth but now also a British citizen, Dina's diverse career path has traversed libraries, museums, archives and information management, as well as calligraphy, signwriting and the visual arts.

Lea Donovan handles DVD, tape, and footage distribution alongside Dina Junkermann, having joined TVE in early 2008. After obtaining a B.A. in Fine Art in her native Midwestern USA, she obtained a 2.1 Upper Second Class Honour on her MA dissertation regarding television audience ethnography in 2005, when she emigrated to the UK. She is a life-long Anglophile and media enthusiast, as well as a published poet and editorial columnist.

Chris Miller is tve's regional coordinator for South Asia Chris Miller took up his post as TVE regional coordinator for south Asia in summer 2007. He joined tve from the US Agency for International Development (USAID), where he was country director of the Policy Development Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Chris's substantial experience in managing international development projects includes posts in external affairs and development communications at the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation. He's now based in New Delhi, hosted by Earth Matters, one of our key South Asian partners. See tve partners.

Anshul Ojha works with Chris and is tve's programme executive for South Asia, based in the Earth Matters headquarters in New Delhi. An independent film-maker focusing on stories about socio-cultural dynamics, counter cultures and the environment, he works with tve regional coordinator for South Asia Chris Miller, coordinating activities with broadcasters and tve partners across South Asia. "My sensitivity and thought process comes from Gandhian models of development and economics and Neruda's thought," he says, while "my professional skills and experience range from ICT for development, and original content creation for radio, TV, photography and designing." Enock Chinyenze is tve's regional coordinator for Africa. Enock joined tve in January 2007 and is now working from the United Nations Environment Programme headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya. Previously executive director of tve's longstanding partner, the Zimbabwean NGO Media for Development Trust, Enock has a strong film and management background. He has produced and directed two films, as part of the Broadcasting for Change Network, and brings that experience to bear as coordinator of the TVE Africa Partner Network. "The TVE Africa Partner Network is as diverse and rich in content as you would expect from the colourful cultures in this continent," Enock says. "My challenge is to harness this energy, grow the network and increase the tve presence in Africa.' See tve partners.

Rafael Hidalgo is tve's part-time coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean. A graduate in electronic engineering, Rafael Hidalgo worked in the Venezuelan media for 15 years. As executive director of Artévision-USB, the production arm of Simon Bolivar University in Caracas - and tve's partner in Caracas - he played a leading role in the ground-breaking microMACRO project, the tve Latin American Network's series on environmental entrepreneurs ( pages). He moved to Spain to complete a Media MBA (Universidad Carlos III, Madrid) in 2002 and joined tve as microMACRO project coordinator the following year. Since 2004, he has managed the production of materials - including audiovisual, software, multimedia and web resources - for the UK's Open University science courses, see tve partners.

Janine Honour manages mytve, our service providing businesses with tve films, exciting interactive content, editorial and speakers for in-house staff training on sustainable development and corporate responsibility. She is also tve's office manager. Janine has recently completed her LLM in Law with International Development, which she studied part-time at Queen Mary's, University of London.

Caroline Cassidy is tve's fundraiser who works with our individual supporters. Caroline organises fundraising events and screenings for our supporters and works closely with Lady Glenarthur, the chair of the friends of tve. Caroline joined tve in May 2008 after working in television production for a range of companies including the BBC, Films of Record, Silver River and Oxford Film and TV. Caroline is fluent in Spanish, Russian and French.
